THE BC3 TEAM:
COMMITTED TO PRODUCING OUTSTANDING THOROUGHBREDS.
BC3 Thoroughbreds was founded in the US by John Brocklebank and Shane Chipman. Together, John and Shane have over 20 years' experience in selecting and training horses. Their horsemanship was initially applied to the American Quarter Horse market, where they met with great success. Turning their attention to thoroughbreds they soon made a significant impact on the thoroughbred racing industry. In their first three years of operation, they bought 18 horses - eight of which went on to win a stakes race. This great strike rate has continued.
Experienced horsemen, expert knowledge.
John Brocklebank
As a one-time US All State football player, John knows all about being an elite athlete. Moving into the equine industry, he was able to draw on his sports science knowledge and apply it to horses. With an acute eye for an athletic type, he believes in treating racehorses like Olympic athletes. His unique approach means his horses are known as fully educated, sound and fast. Many of the larger training establishments around the world now jostle to secure his youngsters.
Shane Chipman
Shane Chipman began breaking horses at 12 and has dedicated his life to working with thoroughbreds. Starting out in the racing industry as a groom, he ended up educating young horses for some of America's biggest racing stables. Like John, Shane is regarded internationally as a true horseman and astute judge.
A range of industry experience, with an eye to the future.
