BC3 Announce Preview Day

Date: 22-Jun-2009
Author: BC3 Thoroughbreds

BC3 Thoroughbreds today launched the ‘BC3 Australian Preview Day’ for its 2009 draft of 2YO horses. In yet another move to position itself as a unique player in the 2YO market, BC3 have established their own Preview Day in response to extensive market research on the preferred timing and structure of such an event. In a big news day for BC3, the announcement of the Preview Day coincides with the announcement of the company’s move to a new home at Sutton Grange in Central Victoria as of today.

The double announcement was officially made by BC3 Thoroughbreds CEO Bill Vlahos who expressed his excitement about both pieces of news. “The BC3 Preview Day will provide us with the opportunity to showcase our 2009 Australian draft to local, interstate and international buyers. The horses will work over 400 metres which provides a distinct difference to traditional 2YO showcase events. In addition, our new home at Sutton Grange provides us with a fantastic venue for not only the Preview Day, but an amazing training facility that BC3 will be calling home for at least the next three years."

The BC3 Preview Day will be held at Sutton Grange on Sunday 23 August. Following the preview gallops, the horses will be made available for sale on the day to all interested parties. To register for more information about the Preview Day and the sales process, please contact:

About BC3

BC3 Thoroughbreds produce quality 2YO horses for the Thoroughbred Racing industry. Using a program developed by John Brocklebank and Shane Chipman, BC3 only purchases yearlings that meet our specific selection criteria. We then develop them through a training program based on the creation of bone density and physical fitness at a time when these horses are most responsive to development. With the support of a scientifically based nutrition program, BC3 Thoroughbreds applies the latest advances in both equine and sports science techniques to create equine athletes.
